The creative spirit can lie dormant, waiting patiently and unattended to, until the time is right and a spark ignites it. The women in this exhibit have had careers and responsibilities that did not allow them to indulge this essential part of their being. But once that creative spirit was unleashed, each dedicated her efforts to her craft, and each is energized by the thoughtful communication of ideas and emotions, processes, outcomes, and the camaraderie of the art community.

This exhibit's participating artists include Bibi Saidi, Caroline Royall, Carolyn Harkey, Diane Baum, Emily Osburn, Geri Pieper, Karol Braunstein, Liliana Clark, Linda Menendez, Lisa Walker, Lisa Woolley, Lynn Grimes, Mary Barad, Nancy Vandenberg, Norma Murphy, Paola Flores, Rebecca Horan, Roberta Buckles, Robin Gara, Sandy Freeman, Stephanie Trede, Susan Arnim, and Uri Whitehead. The rotating images above and at right are just a sample of the over 50 works that will be part of this expansive show.
The Opening Reception for this exhibit will be held on Saturday, July 11, from 2 to 4pm. The Artist Talk will be on Saturday, July 25, from 2 to 4pm. The exhibit will be on view during our First Friday Wine Down on August 7, from 5 to 7pm. The exhibit will run through August 8.
