Art Gallery Prudencia held its first exhibit featuring The Rattlesnake Gang in 2021, and has long featured the work of many of its member artists. The group loosely began in 2015 when Richard Sneary visited the Big Bend National Park with members of the Outdoors Painters Society. He has gone back every year since, but he considers the trip in February 2017, which included Tim Oliver and others, the real genesis of the gang. Not all members make it on every trip, but every February you will find some members of the group braving the elements and finding new ways to be inspired by Big Bend.
Art Gallery Prudencia is proud to again feature the work of this incredible group of artists with an exhibit of some of the works they have created on their outings in the last four years. If you love the outdoors, and particularly if you love the spectacular scenery of West Texas, you will definitely want to join us for this exhibit, which will include works by artists Carla Bosch, Lon Brauer, Tom Brown, Terry Bryson, Margie Hildreth, Tim Oliver, Richard Sneary, Gary Tucker, Richie Vios, Jill Webber, and Jeff Williams. Please join us at the gallery for The Opening Reception for this exhibit on Saturday, January 18th, from 2 to 4 pm. The exhibit will run through February 22nd, and the Closing Reception will be held on that day from 2 to 4 pm.
